Liminal Flo at NorthSite Gallery (Cairns) Season One Group Exhibition, Thresholds, January 18 to March 29, 2025. 

Created specifically for the exhibition, Liminal Flo is a mixed media piece (silver, wood, fibre, 3D printing, visuals, spoken word) exploring the theme of 'thresholds' by embodying the transitional space between states of being. This is symbolised by silver, biomorphic entities emerging from a sculptural cocoon. Coloured light projections, inspired by natural phenomena, enhance the sense of transformation, while an audio layer of spoken word poetry offers a lyrical meditation on change and renewal.

Silver shape unfurls,

Shifting hues, fleeting forms,
Thresholds breathe, transform.

Nest-cocoon stirs slow,

Whispers, twilight glow,

Emerging from stillness,
Liminal flow.

Whispers, weaving quiet thoughts,

Secrets, held in misty breath,

Echo through the shifting air,

Shadows drift,

Stillness wraps the world.
